In your August 5th debate with Alistair Darling, you told the studio audience, "I don't doubt, for a second, that Alistair is fiercely proud of being Scottish but he's said it several times this evening and I'm just wondering why he keeps saying it." Could this perhaps have something to do with snide nationalists repeatedly smearing Better Together supporters as "unpatriotic"? -- Or do you never look at those websites?
If I point out that a resource is 'volatile' and in 'long-term decline', does it follow that I consider it a "curse"?
Why bother to claim that "Scotland could be a successful independent country" if you're not going to define "successful"?
Are you under the impression Scotland is currently an 'unsuccessful' part of the UK?
Could Scotland be "successful" outside of the EU?
If a hypothetical negotiator thinks his goal "logical and desirable" but his negotiating partner thinks the exact opposite, why should he imagine he'll get his way?
Why say you "want Scotland to decide to stay in the European Union" when what you actually want is for Scots not to be asked?
When and why did you decide to mislead us over the NHS?
In your August 5th debate with Alistair Darling, you claimed that "a majority of people in Scotland did vote SNP at the last election." Is 45% of voters your idea of a majority?
If a fifth of Scots were voting SNP and getting only one MP out of it, would you think this a perfectly fair electoral arrangement and just make cracks about pandas?
As 55% of Scottish voters didn't vote SNP in 2011, in what sense do "we get the government we vote for"?
As a majority (51%) of voters in Orkney and Shetland voted Liberal Democrat in 2011, shouldn't they ensure they always 'get the government they vote for' by breaking away from Scotland and taking their oil with them?
Which countries is it that don't have food banks (which ensure that free food gets to people in a mess with debt and/or on low incomes)? -- And are you as keen to see the back of other charities as well?
If food banks did not exist, more unsold supermarket food would just be disposed of. Why would that be a good thing?
If you really want 'the people of Scotland' making important decisions -- and trust us with a referendum that could break-up Britain -- why aren't you also promising us referenda on voluntary euthanasia, abortion limits, drug laws, etc?
Can you spot the difference between (a) giving someone a knighthood because you think they've done a good job, and (b) encouraging that same person to take an almighty risk with other people's money?
In your debates with Alistair Darling you accused him of causing the 2008 global financial crash, of building up "enormous, ginormous debts", of being a "past master of deficit" and of having "undermined the entire economy." If you genuinely believe this stuff, why would you be "happy to invite him to join" your negotiating team?
Have you told the leaders of Russia, China, North Korea and Pakistan that their nuclear weapons "can never be used"?
What is your definition of "poverty"? -- If it's the 'household income below 60% of national average' definition, are you, by any chance, able to spot the obvious absurdities?
As you know, 'Scotland's Future' is an anagram of 'Fraudulent Costs.' Was that a coincidence or an in-joke?
